LEARN THE ART OF NORDIC WALKING
Nordic
walking is the fastest growing outdoor activity in the world. It is a great way to get fit or keep fit, and it’s
suitable for all ages, abilities and fitness levels. Whether you are a top athlete or a little unsteady on your feet,it can
be beneficial. Very few exercise routines can give you a full body workout like Nordic Walking, covering all the main
components of exercise,stamina, strength and suppleness. Lots of people are now
giving up their expensive gym memberships,preferring an outdoor activity to a sweaty gym.

My background is in sport, health and fitness. I became a Nordic
Walking instructor In 2005 when I completed a Leki training course. A year later I was teaching Nordic Walking at a college
in Preston and now I have brought it to Bolton. Most of our
courses are on Sunday afternoons where we meet at The Good Health Centre, Astley Bridge for a chat and refreshments. Then
we head out to the edge of the moors, do some basic tuition and go off for our country walk around the beautiful countryside
of Bolton. Don’t worry, no-one is left behind as we split into groups of ability.
